The review article is devoted to proving the effectiveness of the interdisciplinary approach in studying economic disciplines at a university. The relevance of the study is due to the need for deep and expanded integration of disciplines from different fields of science. High-quality interdisciplinary education promotes the integration of concepts, theories, methods and means of teaching by students, deepens understanding of complex topics, develops the abilities of students, prepares them to solve problems, create products in ways that go beyond a separate disciplinary perspective. Our appeal to the interdisciplinary approach in the field of studying economics is due to the leading role of economic disciplines in the functioning and development of society, production, science and technology, the need for interaction of economic disciplines with such disciplines as mathematics, biology, ecology, psychology, sociology, law, history, the formation of specialists capable of integrating concepts, theories, methods and means of teaching, an in-depth understanding of complex topics, capable of formulating and solving problems, creating products in ways that go beyond a separate discipline. The purpose of the article is to study the effectiveness of using an interdisciplinary approach in studying economic disciplines. The objectives of the article: to study the essence and prove the advantage of using an interdisciplinary approach, to analyze existing methods and examples of implementing an interdisciplinary approach in studying economic disciplines. The methodological study includes the study of scientific literature and empirical data, comparison, analysis, use of interactive forms of work: case method, group and research projects when integrating economics with other disciplines. The authors reveal the essence and advantages of using an interdisciplinary approach in studying economic disciplines, work methods, practical use of an interdisciplinary approach. The results of the study can be applied in professional education when studying economic disciplines. Prospects for further research include the integration of economic disciplines with new disciplines at all stages of training at the university, the expansion of interdisciplinary programs, the introduction of new teaching aids.
