This article analyzes the legal protection of innovative solutions in high-tech sectors of the global economy, focusing on the experience of Scandinavian countries and potential solutions applicable to Russia. The study is based on a comparative analysis of the legal frameworks and practices implemented in Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway, which are recognized as global leaders in the fields of innovation and technology. The paper thoroughly examines aspects such as legislative support for innovation, mechanisms for government stimulation of development and commercialization of technologies, as well as the protection of intellectual property. Special attention is given to the analysis of successful strategies and programs that could be adapted to the Russian legal and economic environment to stimulate the development of the high-tech sector and enhance its competitiveness in the global market. The authors discuss the role of the state in creating favorable conditions for innovative activities, including the establishment of an effective system for intellectual property protection and regulation of relationships among participants in the innovation process. The concluding section of the article offers suggestions for optimizing the Russian patent system based on the analyzed international practices, which should contribute to accelerating technological development and strengthening the country's intellectual security.
