ERP (enterprise resource planning) is enterprise resource planning. In the most general form, ERP can be defined as the totality of all the basic business processes necessary for the management of a company: finance, personnel management, production, supply chain, services, procurement and much more. To simplify the process of implementing ERP applications at medium-sized enterprises, it is necessary to develop a strategic model that will answer fundamental questions related to making decisions about the implementation of ERP and the implementation of ERP. This model should provide a roadmap for cost-effective, productive and controlled ERP implementation at medium-sized enterprises, step-by-step describing the implementation stages and discussing the key factors associated with each stage. In this study, methods of qualitative research were used. For the purposes of this study, the researcher used a qualitative approach to conducting an in-depth analysis of ERP implementation factors, taking into account their adoption in medium-sized companies. The generalizability method was also used as part of the study. In this study, a conceptual model of ERP implementation at medium-sized enterprises was created. The goal was to formulate the key factors related to the implementation of ERP in medium-sized enterprises and present them in the form of ERP implementation stages in order to provide a strategic direction for its testing in medium-sized enterprises. The proposed model not only highlights the aspects of ERP implementation, but also provides guidance on the strategic aspects of proper ERP application implementation. This model can be used as part of the ERP implementation strategy at medium-sized enterprises, allowing managers/owners of enterprises to better understand the implementation process.
