Determinants of innovation activity of enterprises in the Central Federal District
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The relevance of the research is due, on the one hand, to low innovation activity of enterprises at the regional level, and on the other hand, to the need to build a national innovation system under unprecedented sanctions pressure on the Russian economy. The relatively low degree of innovativeness of Russian companies and the economy as a whole in comparison with other developed countries of the world, actualizes the theme of this study. The aim of the research is to assess the influence of a number of factors on the innovation activity of the CFA enterprises. The hypothesis of the research: there should be a direct (statistically significant) relationship between the dynamics of innovation activity of CFD enterprises and internal costs of research and development, the cost of innovation activities of organizations, the share of high-tech and knowledge-intensive industries in the gross regional product, the share of investment in fixed capital to GRP, the share of organizations that used personal computers. The correlation analysis was used to test the hypothesis proposed in the paper. As a result of the study it was found that there is a direct (statistically significant) relationship between the level of innovation activity of CFA enterprises and the share of organizations that used personal computers in GRP. The correlation between the level of innovation activity of CFD enterprises and other determinants that influence it is not significant.
