Since the approval of the «EAEU Digital Agenda» in 2016, digitalization and innovative development have become key drivers of the Eurasian Economic Union’s development. For Russia, this new stage of digital transformation in the EAEU integration process is primarily driven by the introduction of comprehensive sanctions, which, starting in 2022, have to some extent limited the ability to maintain a balance between global digital transformation trends and the Union’s integration framework, thereby ensuring inclusion in global digital transformation projects. At the same time, the regulatory influence of other actors, such as China and the SCO countries, continues to strengthen in the post-Soviet space, determining the specific nature of digital transformation in integration processes between interacting countries. This study analyzes the digital transformation of the CIS, EAEU, and SCO countries in the context of e-commerce platforms development. The aim of the study is to analyze the impact of digital transformation due to development of e-commerce models in order to identify the dynamics of digital transformation in the CIS, EAEU, and SCO countries. To achieve this goal, the study utilizes composite indices and an aggregated regional index of the impact of digital transformation in the context of foreign trade interactions between the CIS, EAEU, and SCO countries. The study identified the need to develop an aggregated compatibility index for national digitalization development programs in the CIS, EAEU, and SCO countries based on the used approach. This will help determine the scope and feasibility of implementing potential programs for aligning various joint initiatives in the areas of digital platform creation and technology transfer, with the potential for transitioning to full-fledged cooperative interaction in both bilateral and multilateral formats.
