Статья посвящена исследованию влияния входящих прямых иностранных инвестиций (ПИИ) на экспорт информационно-коммуникационных технологий (ИКТ) в странах БРИКС. ИКТ не только являются двигателем экономического роста, но и важным индикатором технологического прогресса, влияя на качество жизни и развитие общества. Развитие сектора ИКТ способствует созданию рабочих мест, передаче технологий и устойчивому росту национальных экономик, делая его важной составляющей современной экономики. В условиях динамичного технологического прогресса особенно важно исследовать роль ПИИ в развитии экспорта ИКТ в рамках БРИКС, поскольку страны постепенно становятся лидерами в области цифровых технологий. На основе эконометрического анализа авторами проверяется гипотеза о положительном влиянии ПИИ на экспорт ИКТ-услуг в этих странах

The article is devoted to the study of the impact of incoming foreign direct investment (FDI) on the export of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the BRICS countries. ICT is not only an engine of economic growth, but also an important indicator of technological progress, influencing the quality of life and the development of society, which is a fundamental task. The development of the ICT sector contributes to job creation, technology transfer and sustainable growth of national economies, making it an important component of the modern economy. In the context of dynamic technological progress, it is especially important to explore the role of FDI in the development of ICT exports within the BRICS, as countries are gradually becoming leaders in the field of digital technologies. Based on the econometric analysis, the article verifies the hypothesis of the positive impact of FDI on the export of ICT services in these countries.
