This section provides an overview of the materials presented in the 5th (125th) issue of our journal. According to the editor, the publications in this issue serve to advance new ideas for the further development of the concept of theoretical economy that we have put forward. That is, they continue the work that we have been doing on the pages of our online publication for a decade and a half. This section shows what these ideas and this development consist of using the example of each work presented in this issue. The editor notes that it manifests itself, although to varying degrees, both in the speeches of well-known readers and new authors. The main attention in the content of the proposed issue is traditionally paid, firstly, to the current problems of theoretical economy. For this purpose, an editorial annotation is given to the article by G.A. Rodina and M.A. Ugryumova on the prospects for general economic stagnation, the work of V.P. Rossinsky on crises of market production, and the publication of L.Yu. Arkhangelskaya on the quantitative assessment of poverty in Russia. Secondly, attention is drawn to the theoretical and economic aspects of the study of new industrialization. Thirdly, much attention is paid to modern problems of the global economy, which are studied in the works of the authors, devoted, firstly, to the evolution of seigniorage in cryptocurrencies and, secondly, to the development of cooperation within the EAEU, BRICS and SCO. And, of course, fourthly, special attention is paid to the creativity of young scientists. The methodology of the study is based, naturally, on the concept of theoretical economy put forward by us. The scientific novelty of the work lies in identifying the contribution of the articles published in this issue to the development of this concept.
